Fun Hebrew Experience for Israeli-American youth
Weekly Sessions Full of Activities
Shevet Kochav holds weekly activities, usually on Sunday afternoon. The activities are youth-led and provide an opportunity for young people to experience the responsibility and leadership of guiding others. The meetings are organized and led by Merakez Ha-Shevet (Troop Leader) and the Shachbag (Young Leadership, 10th -12th grades), with the support of Vaad Ha-Horim (Parents Committee).
The Scouting program is conducted mostly in Hebrew.

In addition to the regular weekly meetings, the Tzofim program includes Yom Tzofe (Scout Day), Summer Camp, Leadership Camp, volunteering trips and other fun activities.

































Development of a Jewish, Israeli, and Zionist identity
Shevet Kochav is a part of Tzofim Tzabar - a Zionist youth movement, whose mission is to operate and develop educational programs and values, in which children and young adults – members of the Israeli community in North America – engaged in a variety of social and educational Zionist experiences, to gain knowledge and love for the Land of Israel.
Shevet Kochav is active in the Jewish community of Dallas, TX, organizing and leading events such as “Tekes Yom Hazikaron (Israeli Memorial Day Program), "Yom a Hatzmaut" (Israel independence day), the Purimon (Purim Carnival) and more.
